Your Dermal Filler appointment and consultation can often time be completed in less than one hour. Patients can return back to their daily activities after the appointment and discharge instructions will be reviewed during your appointment. Some minor side effects such as bruising, swelling, and tenderness around the treated area are normal but these side effects typically go down in a few days.
Recovery Time
Generally, recovery lasts from 1 to 7 days. Most patients are available to return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. Some patients even schedule their treatment during lunchtime and return to work right after. There are few restrictions post with dermal fillers.
